Success story from reader Goran Bajazetov

Fellow list member Goran Bajazetov replied to my recent message to share a success story of his own (shared with permission):

Hi Jonathan,

I just wanted to reach out to say how much I enjoyed the email you sent this morning.

It really resonated with me and inspired me to share a bit of my own story with you.

First and foremost, I want to thank you for all the amazing work you’ve done so far. Your daily emails, podcasts, books, and all the resources you provide on your website have been of tremendous value to me.

I first discovered your content a few years ago, and thanks to your teachings, I was introduced to the concept of value-based pricing. That was a game-changer for me.

Back in 2022, I sold my design agency, but before that, I was able to charge up to three times more for the same projects we used to do, with the same team and within the same time frames.

The only thing that changed was our mindset—we shifted to value-based pricing instead of selling hours.

It took time for this mindset shift to fully happen, but once we did, I couldn’t help but laugh at the thought of how we used to charge by the hour.

So, once again, thank you so much for all the valuable content and insights you continue to share. 🙏
