Why don’t clients value my expertise?

What would cause clients to place a low value on your expertise?

There are many reasons. Here are three:

  1. If your current clients see you as a commodity who can easily be replaced by someone else who’s good enough to do what they want, then value pricing probably won’t be effective at increasing your income.
  2. If the problem that you solve for your current clients isn’t that big a deal to them, then value pricing probably won’t be effective at increasing your income.
  3. If your current clients think they know how to do what you do but just don’t have time to do it themselves, then value pricing probably won’t be effective at increasing your income.

Here’s the thing...

Is it possible to increase your income with value pricing?

Yes, it is possible.

Is value pricing the only way to increase your income?

No, there are several other ways, like products, productized services, coaching, training, advisory retainers, membership communities, etc.

Is value pricing the easiest way to increase your income?

Maybe, maybe not. It depends on how much you would need to change about your current way of doing business.

Yours,
