The problem with hustling or being pushy or employing aggressive sales techniques is that doing so sends a signal that you’re desperate.
And if you’re desperate, how good can you be at what you supposedly do?
Hustling is a trust killer.
If your stuff really was awesome, it would be obvious to the people you made it for.
If it’s NOT obvious to the people you made it for, you DIDN’T make your stuff that great.
The solution is not to try to convince your people that what you made is awesome, it’s to make better stuff.
