Maybe...?

If nobody is throwing money at you, maybe what you’re offering isn’t very valuable.

Or...

Maybe your positioning is so soggy that the people who WOULD value it are not aware of it.

Or...

Maybe the people who DO value what you offer believe that you are just one of many options available to them, so they spend less with someone else.

Here’s the thing...

Value is a perception in the mind of the buyer.

Let me say that AGAIN...

Value is a perception in the mind of the buyer.

AND ONCE MORE FOR EMPHASIS:

VALUE IS A PERCEPTION IN THE MIND OF THE BUYER.

You can call it a feeling or a thought or even an illusion but it exists nowhere else than in the buyer’s mind.

If someone is aware of what you offer AND considers it valuable AND sees no cheaper options, THEN they will throw money at you.

It’s not rocket science.

Yours,

—J
