Have you ever worked with a client who was always playing it safe?
Were you frustrated that they were too risk-averse to implement your brilliant ideas?
Did you think to yourself that if they would just embrace your advice, they would be much better off?
Now ask yourself...
When it comes to your own business, are you any less risk-averse than these clients who frustrated you so much?
It’s easy to be cavalier about the risks someone else should take and overly conservative about the risks that you take yourself.
Finding a more balanced calibration between these two extremes will almost certainly make you more effective for your clients and less trapped in your business.
