Sometimes worse is better
Has a client ever asked you to do something the “wrong” way?
Things like:
- Make the user experience clunkier
- Make the design uglier
- Make the photos more boring
- Make the copywriting less creative
Here’s the thing...
Sometimes - not always, but sometimes - there are perfectly valid business reasons to opt for an objectively “worse” version.
Unless you know what results the client is hoping to achieve from the changes, you don’t really have a strong basis to argue against the request.
