The Importance Of Intention

Imagine three different scenarios involving a block of cement and my knuckles:

1. I punch my hand through a cement block to pass my black belt test.
2. I accidentally smash my knuckles into a cement block while trying to repair a deck.
3. A bad guy forcibly smashes my hand into a block of cement to torture me into confessing to a crime I didn’t commit.

All three result in the exact same torn skin, bloody knuckles, maybe even broken bones.

But do they all feel the same?

Heck no.

Intention matters.
