Revenue vs Profit for Solopreneurs
Revenue is how much money your business brings in.
Profit is how much you have left after paying your expenses.
Here’s the thing...
Your salary is NOT profit.
It’s an expense.
Think of it like this:
Imagine if you sat on the beach all day and paid someone as good as you to do your job.
How much revenue would you have left over at the end of the year?
If your answer is “not very much” then your business is not very profitable.
And profit is what matters.
Yours,
—J
