Have you heard the expression “an honest day’s work for an honest day’s pay”?
Maybe it sounds reasonable on the surface, but I feel like the reverse implication is that if you don’t work hard all day and still get paid well, then you are somehow dishonest.
Is the only honest money the kind that comes from working hard all day?
What if you’ve been honing your craft for a 10+ years and can deliver outstanding results to your clients with very little effort?
Is it dishonest to get paid well for something valuable to your clients that was easy for you to execute?
