How To Tell People What You Do (webinar replay)

Yesterday, 92 people joined me for an interactive webinar on three ways to define your positioning (i.e., how to answer the question “What do you do?”)
Here they are:
- Good A4B (“I do A for B”)
- Better XYPS (“I help X with Y”)
- Best LFPS (“I am a DISCIPLINE who helps TARGET MARKET with EXPENSIVE PROBLEM. Unlike my competitors, UNIQUE DIFFERENCE.”)
After the short slide presentation, I spent almost an hour workshopping positioning statements for the live attendees.
I only completed 12 out of 45 positioning statements before we ran out of time, but folks who were there said that seeing me go through the exercise with others was extremely helpful.
