Can the value of what you do for your clients be measured with a time clock?
A time clock is the wrong measuring stick. You’re not making fries. You provide professional services.
Your job is to improve your client’s condition. How long it takes you to do so has nothing whatsoever to with how much it's worth to them.
In fact, your clients would probably prefer to reach their desired outcome in the least amount of time possible.
Attaching your income to the time it takes to deliver results means taking a pay cut as you get better at delivering quality results faster.
That’d be nuts, right?
