“What’s different about an apple?”
Impossible to answer, right?
That’s because I haven’t given you enough information.
You have no choice but to ask:
“Compared to what?”
The same concept holds true when you’re trying to explain to clients what is different about you.
You can’t do it without first answering the question, “compared to what?”
If you’re not sure what makes you stand out from the crowd, double check that you know what crowd you’re trying to stand out from in the first place.
