More things to do “in the dark”
Here are some more things I do when my main clients go dark on me:
- Publish a podcast episode
- Publish a screencast
- Do a free webinar
- Host an AMA
- Answer questions on forums
- Write a free email course
- Write (or revise) a sales page
- Set up an ad campaign
- Ping past clients about new work
- Send outreach emails to prospects in my target market
These do not all generate revenue directly but those that are not are still worthwhile if you have a narrow focus because they will contribute to your growing body of work.
NOTE: It’s worth mentioning that you should make time to engage in marketing activities like these all the time, not just when clients go dark.
