Are you considering starting a daily mailing list?
Long-time list member and fellow daily emailer Rod Aparicio sent in the following message for me to share with you:
Look, this daily thing is a game-changer.
In terms of:
Expertise, it lets you go deep on things you love AND hate in your industry. For the ones you love, on how to make them bigger. On the ones you hate, on seeing ways to change the situation.
Creativity, it pushes you to think deeper —and different. It helps you make connections you never thought of before.
Deciding what to focus on (positioning/niching down/specializing), it gives you the freedom to explore all the different ideas you have, and see what goes on between the ideas and yourself, and between the ideas and your market to serve. All of it, without needing to risk a HUGE investment in building and trying a full-on business; or figuring out what makes sense to you.
Clarity, it takes your ideas off your head, so that you can get new ideas to play with.
Market, it lets you know what resonates and what not from your messaging, your market, your audience.
Consistency, it becomes a thing you end up enjoying. Writing and sharing gets to stop being a chore. It gets to be your commitment to your readers. And that’s the first step to lead: to think in terms of them, over in terms of you. And this is after email 609 (today’s daily).
