If you’re not getting lots of leads, it will probably feel too risky to try new stuff in your sales process.
If you don’t try new stuff, nothing new will happen.

Get more leads so you can start practicing new things.
There are lots of ways to get more leads (e.g., running ads, cold calling, buying a list, etc) but my favorite strategy is this:
Freely share your expertise with people who would be your ideal buyers.
(NOTE: It’s no accident that I used the term “ideal buyers” 12 times in this message. Not counting the one I just used. That’d be 13, which would be unlucky ☘️)
