Going “Alone”
There’s an old saying that goes something like this:
“If you want to go fast go alone. If you want to go far go together.”
People often quote this to me when I mention my steadfast refusal to hire employees.
As if hiring employees is the only way to “go together.”
News flash:
There are plenty of ways to lead a group of people without being their boss.
Here’s the thing...
If you don’t want to hire employees, then don’t hire employees.
This need not hinder your mission in any way.
I’m no expert, but...
I don’t recall hearing about Socrates or Mother Theresa or Gandhi posting on ZipRecruiter.
And it seems like they went pretty far.
