Could you make more money as a full-time employee than you could as a freelancer?
Maybe. Maybe not.
But comparing “working a dayjob” to “working for yourself” is apples and oranges.
Because you can’t sell your dayjob.
I have observed that most freelancers treat freelancing like “a job without a boss” instead of like a business, and therefore would have a near zero chance of selling it.
But you CAN treat freelancing like a business.
And if you do, you are entitled to 100% of the equity as the owner.
I’m not saying one approach - full-timer vs freelancer - is better than the other.
I’m saying they’re fundamentally different wealth creation strategies.
