Growth Metrics
There are lots of ways to measure whether your business is growing.
Here’s a partial list:
- Increased headcount
- More market share
- Territories expanded
- Higher gross revenue
- Increased net income
- Greater profitability
- Improved employee morale
- Fancier zip code
- More square footage
- Fewer hours worked
Personally, the only one that matters to me is that last one.
Maybe yours is the same, maybe it’s different.
Here’s the thing...
Whichever growth metric you pick, that’s probably the only one that’s going to get better.
So choose wisely.
