Yes, you can value price that
People often ask whether value pricing will work for the sort of business they are in.
For example:
- “I’m an engineer. Can I use value pricing?”
- “I’m a copywriter. Can I use value pricing?”
- “I’m a photographer. Can I use value pricing?”
- “I’m an architect. Can I use value pricing?”
- “I’m a marketer. Can I use value pricing?”
...and so on and so on to infinity.
The answer to all of these questions is:
“Yes, you can value price that.”
How can I be so sure?
Because engineering and copywriting and photography and architecture and marketing and any other profession can provide value.
Therefore they can be value priced.
You know when value pricing doesn’t work?
When your prospective client doesn’t perceive enough value in what you’re offering to justify the price.
Here’s the thing...
The real question isn’t whether your particular discipline can engage in value pricing.
The real question is whether you have packaged your expertise in a way that appears valuable to your prospective clients.
