Two ways to walk

Sometimes you want to take a walk just for the sheer joy of it. You wander and indulge your curiosity and get distracted and generally exist in the moment. This is a great thing to do.

Sometimes you want to get somewhere. You decide on the most efficient route, you bring only what you need, and once you start walking, you stay on course until you reach your destination. This is also a great thing to do.

Two ways to walk.

Both have their merits.

Just don’t confuse them.

Here’s the thing…

I know loads of people who say they want to take their business somewhere, but are really just wandering around.

I’m not suggesting that you can’t enjoy the journey of building a business, but your time here is limited.

Decide where you want to go, choose a strategy for getting there, and stay focused on the goal so you can course correct along the way.

Yours,

—J
