Early in 2019, Rochelle and I interviewed the author of The Leverage Equation, Todd Tresidder.
Todd shared a ton of excellent advice - including the six types of leverage you can create in your business - but one thing he said really stuck with me:
“Look at everything you spend your time on as a failure of your business systems.”
Think about that for a second... really let it sink in...
Spending your time on something equals a business failure.
Of course, Todd’s message resonated with my anti-hourly billing mission but I never heard it articulated with such clear and cold logic.

If your business model is designed around trading time for money, you’re trapped in a no-win situation. The way out is to create leverage - which requires that you move away from hourly billing.
