Do better work

Having lots of followers on social media might mean that you are publishing things that resonate with lots of people, who then share your work with others, who then follow you to get more.

Or, it might mean that you have found a way to game the system to inflate your numbers. Like a balloon, this looks big from the outside, but it’s empty on the inside.

Try not to confuse these two approaches. Followers are a side-effect, not a goal. If you want more followers, do better work.
