Over the next week or so I’m going to get into some pretty nuanced answers to the question:
“Can we get a discount?”
Before I do that, I want to make sure that one thing is perfectly clear...
The answer is:
Of course, you probably shouldn’t bluntly respond with a no. And in different situations there may even be an exception.
But just so you know... if you get overwhelmed by all of the tactics that are to follow, a polite “No” is almost always better than a “Yes.”
