Inbox Management

I was recently asked the following question in my coaching chatroom:

What do you do to your inbox to separate clients from personal and other business related email?

Short answer: Nothing.

Long answer:

I almost never get personal email because I push all personal stuff to Facebook. I almost never get client related email because I push all client stuff to Basecamp or Slack.

The result is that my inbox is pretty much all mailing lists or initial contacts from prospects.

So the answer to the question is: force personal stuff and client stuff into other channels and use your inbox for working prospects.
