Is it possible to create demand?
Practically speaking, I would say no, not for soloists and small firms.
I mean, with enough time and money, anything’s possible but creating demand is typically the domain of big public companies like Disney and Apple.
So if you’re that big, go for it.
In the meantime, it’s almost certainly WAY easier to find an existing demand in a market you love, and serve that need in a novel way that’s profitable for both you and your buyers.
NOTE: This requires an open mind and could involve learning new skills - or hiring people who have the required skills - to serve the demand you have identified.
