Need more leads?

Sent by Jonathan Stark on August 29th, 2019

When you look back at your calendar for last week, does it basically amount to a 40-hour chunk of client work?

Even if it wasn’t all client work, how much time did you spend on activities that reliably generate new leads?

Leads don’t materialize by magic. You have to do something to generate them. If your pipeline is empty, I’ll hazard a guess that you’re probably not regularly doing any marketing (or you’re wasting time on the wrong activities).

Not having enough leads has a terrible effect on your confidence, and therefore your ability to command premium fees.

You end up so desperate for work that you’ll take any prospect who comes through the door, even if they’re flying red flags by the dozen and you’re forced to slash your prices to land the gig.

It’s really not rocket science, folks... if you want more leads, you have to make marketing a regular habit.

Yours,

—J
