Considering niching down?

Niching down on a specific target market can make it a lot easier to attract clients.

But folks who are considering niching down often wonder:

“Won’t potential clients be afraid to work with me if I’m also working with their competitors?”

Maybe.

But if you look at it from the client’s point of view, they have two options:

1) “Do we want to work with someone who KNOWS NOTHING about our industry?”

2) “Or would we rather work with someone who has DEEP EXPERTISE in our industry?”

Assuming there are at least a couple thousand prospects in your target market, you should be able to find plenty of clients who would gladly choose option 2.
