Reminders vs To-dos
What if you didn’t look at your to-do list as a list of tasks that you had to do?
What if instead you looked at it as a list of things you wanted to be reminded of?
So instead of younger you bossing future you around, it’d be more like younger you doing future you a favor.
For example:
“You asked me to remind you to order the dog’s medicine today and here’s the vet’s phone number”
It’s a subtle distinction but if you feel guilty or overwhelmed when you look at your task list, it might be a helpful shift.
