Hard time with options?

If you have a hard time coming up with three options for a proposal, the problem probably isn’t the proposal.

The problem is probably the sales conversation.

More specifically:

You probably spent too much time talking about the scope the client requested.

So now you’re stuck trying to create three options by adding more effort:

That’s not value pricing.

That’s scope inflation.

Here’s the thing...

Option three is not supposed to be a ton more work for you.

Option three is supposed to be a better path to the client’s desired outcome.

Faster.

Less risky.

More complete.

Less effort for them.

If the only way you can think to raise the price is to add more effort, you are probably scoping first.
