More reader feedback re Filing Sucks
(PRE-S: Time is running out... I’m running a small live workshop this Friday, May 8th, called Mine Yourself. We’ll turn your back catalog of podcasts, webinars, talks, and other content into a working library you can pull books, courses, and frameworks out of. There’s some non-trivial pre-work required for the session, so apply now »)
Fellow list member Avi Marcus wrote in with a follow-up observation to my Filing Sucks message from the other day (shared with permission):
This is just part of my theory - even if AI doesn’t ever get better, the tooling and integration around AI will be catching up for years and unlocking more and more value.
So it’s not just a blind “of course AI will be even better in a few years” it’s “look, we’re still working on smoothing integrating it into our workflow and it’s taking time, but that’s mostly grunt work and nothing magical”.

Thanks, Avi!
I think this is a really good point.
Even if the base models stop improving, they will still become more useful as the scaffolding around them improves.
So unless the base models degrade or disappear, AI is probably going to be something consultants will have to contend with for quite some time.
Yours,
